Would like Alignment feature to be added

Would love for there to be an alignment feature in SCAL. If I have multiple items and could select the ones I want to align either left, right, centered...would be sweet!!

I would love to have this as an option as well.

I'm mixed on this sort of request. On the one hand, it would be handy. On the other hand, Inkscape does it already and much more. Do I want SCAL creeping toward being a drawing program or do I want SCAL to focus on talking to the Cricut and parsing the SVGs Inkscape produces.
