 Post subject: Change to solid

Am new to Inkscape and SCAL. Am trying to take a clip art image and just cut this as a solid image. It looks right in Inkscape but shows 2 copies of the image and details in SCAL. Any help in how to do this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Location: Wales, SCAL 1, SCAL 2, Vista....grrrrrrr
it just needs to be ungrouped a couple of times and colour separated, I have tried to upload the amended version, just hope it works!!

no probs, I have had so much help from the wonderful members of this forum it was good to be able to help someone myself : )
